General Route Description
HOW TO GET TO SA RASCASSA?
If you come from Barcelona (or from the French border):
- Highway AP7 (formerly called A7) E15: France-Girona-Barcelona.
- Exit number 6 (Girona Nord / Banyoles / Olot), some 60 km from the french border and 100 km from Barcelona (*).
- After the toll (from there to the hotel there are ±45 km) always take direction PALAMÓS.
- 7 km after LA BISBAL, take the road direction BEGUR (left).
- When getting to Begur, keep the same road and continue direction AIGUAFREDA (where the hotel is placed) and SA TUNA (very well indicated).
- 2 km past Begur, on your left, take the road to AIGUAFREDA.
- At the first crossroads, go on straight ahead (direction AIGUAFREDA and LES TERRASSES).
- 300 metres ahead, beside the parking lot, there you are!
(*) Coming from Barcelona, you can alternatively leave the highway on exit 9A (Lloret de Mar / Sant Feliu / Palamós). That means some 70 km on the highway, and 65 more on the road (through Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Platja d'Aro, Palamós, Palafrugell and Begur). Be careful!: on weekends, holidays and Summer you may find heavy traffic.
If you come from Girona airport:
- Take Highway AP7 (formerly called A7) E15: France-Girona-Barcelona. It is very close to Girona airport. Direction North (France).
- After just a few km, leave it on exit 6 (and go on as indicated above).
