General Route Description
Directions / Driving instructions from Heraklion
From either the center of Heraklion or Heraklion Airport you follow the signs to Rethymnon to enter the National Road following the direction to Chania / Rethymnon. After about one hour drive you will have approached the town. Exit from the Highway turning right on the first sign to Rethymnon. Drive straight for about 500 meters until you see a petrol station on your right hand side. On the crossing after the petrol station follow the sign to the beach and drive until the end of the road where the beach Road starts. Get the beach Road to the left towards the town center for about 500 meters and turn left on Flisvos super market to find the entrance of Melitti Hotel (Sgourafogianni Street).
Directions / Driving instructions from Chania
From Chania center (Municipal market) you follow the signs to Rethymnon to enter the National Road following the direction to Heraklion / Rethymnon. After about one hour drive (60 km) you will have approached the town. Exit from the Highway turning right on the second exit to Rethymnon. Drive towards the town center and turn right as soon as you see the first sign to the beach. Cross the town center and take the beach road to the east (away from the center) for about 2 km. Turn right after Flisvos super market to find the entrance of Melitti Hotel (Sgourafogianni Street).
From Chania Airport you follow the signs to Souda / Rethymnon and after about 15 minutes drive, when you will have approached Souda Port, mind the sing that leads you to the national road with direction to Rethymnon / Heraklion. After less than one hour drive (52 km) you will have approached the town of Rethymnon. Exit from the Highway turning right on the second exit to Rethymnon. Drive towards the town center and turn right as soon as you see the first sign to the beach. Take the beach road to the east (away from the center) for about 2 km and turn right after Flisvos super market to find the entrance of Melitti Hotel (Sgourafogianni Street).
