The hotel is situated in the center of Ixia area, only 100m from the beach, 4km from the town of Rhodes, the medieval town and the harbour and 11 km from the airport.
How to reach the hotel from the nearest airport:
Caravel Hotel is situated in Ixia, on the main coastroad that connects the Airport with Rhodes town. If you have rented a car, please take this road with direction to Rhodes town and you will find the hotel in Ixia area (The Hotel is after Trianta village and before Kritika area). In front of the hotel you will see the hotel's Restaurant called COCONUT. There is a sign for the Hotel as well as for the restaurant on the main
street. If you get a taxi from the airport just mention the name of the hotel or restaurant. The cost by taxi is approximately 15 euro.
Buses from the airport are infrequent and as there is no bus terminal at the airport, you have to walk and cross the road from the airport terminal to the nearest bus stop - therefore it is not recommended. If, however, you want to use the bus, you can go to the bus stop on the main road that is out of the airport area and take every bus that goes to Rhodes town. Ask the bus driver to get out at the bus stop at the *OLD* Miramare Hotel entrance. Caravel is almost opposite that entrance.

From Rhodes town to Caravel Hotel:
There is frequent bus service from Rhodes town.
You can take EVERY bus that stops at Ixia area.
Ask the bus driver to get out at the bus stop at the *OLD* Miramare Hotel entrance.
Caravel is almost opposite that entrance.
From Caravel Hotel to Rhodes town:
In Ixia area, 100m from the hotel there is a bus stop.
There is frequent bus service to Rhodes town. You can take almost every bus that stops in this bus stop (almost all buses terminate at Rhodes town).
How to reach the hotel by car:
The hotel is at Ixia area, at the coastroad that connects Rhodes town with village Trianta. If you drive from Rhodes town, the hotel is after Kritika area and before Trianta village.
