You will get an opportunity to visit the Hol Chan Marine Park and others where fish and other species of marine life abound amidst colorful coral gardens like a natural underwater aquarium. Other trips leave here daily for Shark & Ray Alley and many other tourist attractions.
Tours also take visitors to the jungles of the mainland for visits to river tours and Ancient historical Mayan Archeological sites.

This is an island of white sand, palm trees and cool tradewinds where everyone relaxes and is relieved of stress. We have virtually only one warm season throughout most of the year resulting in inviting warm emerald waters for swimming or simply waddling around.
There are many restaurants on Caye Caulker within proximity of each other and you may be tempted to try all of them. The most popular menu item at all restaurants is freshly caught seafood and other interesting dishes. Of course Lobster is king when in season from July 15th, to March 15th, annually. A lobsterfest event is celebrated annually around the opening of the lobster season. Conch is also a specialty when in season. Freshly caught Grouper or Red snapper filets or whole grilled fish are also succulent delicacies sought and savored by many diners.
Caye Caulker residents are friendly and helpful to visitors. The popilated portion of this island is less than a mile in length with only three main streets running from North to South. All other streets run from East to West and are only a block or two in length to connect the longer main streets.
Most residents and visitors move around on foot, barefeet since everything is within 15 minutes walking distance. However several shops provide rental bicycles, electric golf cars, ocean kayaks, snorkeling, diving and fishing gear, canoes, day sailer sailboats, windsurfers, jet-skis, kite boarders, etc.

Upon your arrival at the Belize International Airport, you may take a taxicab for around U.S. $25.00 and head for the Belize City Marine Terminal 10 miles to the east or about 20 minutes taxi ride.
The same taxi may also take you from the International Airport to the Belize City Municipal Airstrip for the same price and time frame.
At the terminal or Airstrip you may purchase your ticket for air transfer for around U.S. $50.00 per person, round fare for a short 12 minute air transfer to Caye Caulker or purchase water taxi round fare tickets for U.S. $17.50 per person for a scenic 45 minute boatride for 20 miles to Caye Caulker. As soon as you purchase your water taxi or plane tickets, Just before boarding plane or water taxi, you should call Tony Vega by dialing 610-3192 to request a complimentary transfer to Belize Odyssey Resort. You may purchase a $10.00 BZ ( U.S.$5.00) telephone card at the Internaional Airport ore at any store in the Marine Terminal in Belize City in order to make your telephone call to us from any public telephone. |

Deposit Policy: A 30% deposit is required at booking in order to secure the reservation. The remaining 70% becomes due at 30 days prior to guest's scheduled departure date as confirmed by hotel around booking date.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must reach the hotel in writing. Written cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival date are not refundable. Cancellations occurring more than 30 days prior to abovementioned arrival date will be refunded 50% of monies paid to the hotel.
