Hotel van Beelen has 8 rooms and 5 studio’s (1-roomappartments) and (maybe the most important…) an informal, friendly atmosphere. Situated about 100 meters from the beach, near the centre of Katwijk aan Zee. Only 10 minutes from the centre of Leiden! 3 km from the entrance of ESA/Noordwijk (also good bustransportation).
The rooms have shower and toilet, television, radio, telephone and a free safe in the room. The studio’s have, apart from above-written facilities, also a kitchenette with 2 cooking-plates, refridgerator and coffee machine. Also the studio’s will be cleaned every day and your beds are made up by arrival. Towels and kitchentowels are included in the studios. You pay no extra charges for final-cleaning, gas, water and electricity.
The breakfast (included in the price for the rooms) is an extended breakfast-buffet which can be ready for you from 6.00 AM. For the Studio's it is optional and can be served only for the complete stay for 4 Euro per person. You will find an impression of our breakfast buffet in the photo series. For your eveningmeal you will find several restaurants in different price-categories in our neighbourhood. The nearest restaurant is not even 50 meters from our hotel. We will be glad to advice you.

The fishing village of Katwijk has never lost its authentic atmosphere, although it is situated in the heart of the Randstad; have a look in 'het Katwijks Museum'. The beach is directly in front of the hotel and at the edge of Katwijk you can find a vast nature resort with dunes for visitors who appreciate peace and quiet.
For bicycle fanatics cycling routes are available. If you have kids, enjoy a nice day at amusement park Duinrell or the space travel museum Space Expo. Near Keukenhof, in between the cities Leiden and The Hague. Only 42 km. from Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

How to get to our hotel: You take the A44 and get off at the sign Katwijk. Take the N206 to Katwijk (watch your speed!). You follow the signs Katwijk aan Zee. And after that the signs Centrum (centre), so at all roundabouts straight on. This street is called successively Zeeweg, Tramstraat, Koningin Wilhelminastraat and then you are at our front entrance.(Just 100 meters before the Boulevard on the right corner).
The parkingplaces in the centre and surroundings have to be paid for. From the hotel you can get a parkingcard. With this card you park FREE OF COSTS. You only pay a caution for the parking card of € 50.
