Taken from classical Greek, the hotel’s name Panorama indicates exactly its basic characteristic which is, its magnificent-all round views of the bay of Chania and the historic islet of Thodorou, just opposite. This exclusive and luxurious beach hotel, built in the early 80’s and totally refurbished during year 2000, is situated 5 Km from the most picturesque town of Crete, Chania and about 20 Km from its international Airport. The famous Samaria Gorge is only 30 Km away, while the spectacular White Mountains of Crete overlook the green valleys surrounding the hotel.
The hotel has only recently been tastefully renovated. Greek island themes, Cretan ceramics and beautiful pastel paintworks combined together, reflect the island’s rich history. The layout consists of a 3floor main building with 138 rooms and the executive wing of 60 rooms located harmoniously within Panorama’s landscaped gardens in a prime location.
Room types therefore range, in the main building from standard Mountain View rooms to sea view & superior rooms, as well as suites with Sea-view. All the rooms and the suites have a balcony or a terrace and are equipped with a private bathroom, individually controlled air-conditioning and central heating, satellite TV, mini-bar, safety deposit, direct dial telephone, razor plug and hairdryer. The decor reflects the simple elegance of the Mediterranean, restful to the eye and pleasing to the senses.
The superior rooms types in the Executive Wing vary from Garden Superior to Garden Deluxe and Garden Deluxe – Pool - (with direct access to a shared private pool). Garden Deluxe rooms can be used as family rooms and can accommodate two adults & two children.
Dining facilities are excellent since the guests have a choice between the hotel’s International Restaurant, it’s a la carte menu available in the Main Restaurant offering delicious dishes from the French & Greek cuisine, an extremely popular pool bar, its lobby coffee shop and a rich “Room Service” Menu. Its popular Bar offers the best in atmosphere & drinks, while it serves as the hotel’s meeting and reference point. |

Follow the signs to the highway and towards Kissamos (Westbound). Take the Galatas exit, turn right on the stop sign. Keep going straight until you reach the end of the road. You will be able to see part of the hotel on your left hand side. Turn left (at the end of the road), and you will see the Panorama Hotel main gate in about 150 meters |
