Around the town there are beutifull all green Mountains wich are Ideal for walks.The Aegina Island has many archeological sites. The closest to Agia Marina is the Temple of Afaia. There are also other arceological sites around the Island such as Kolona, the old church town in the mountain near the Agios Nektarios Monastery which is also the protector saint of the Island, and the temple of Ellanios Dias. |

The nearest Airport is The international Airport of Athens "Eleftherios Venizelos" from there you can use the suttle bus wich takes about an hour to get to the port of Peireus. The bus stops very close to the Argosaronic boats (60 meters away)
The are very frequent departures from the port of Peireus (Athens) to the Aegina Island main port and to the Agia Marina port as also to the Souvala port.The jurney from Peireus lasts 35 minutes to 1.30 depenting the boat type and the port of the Island you are using. The fastest way to come to the hotel is to use the port of Agia Marina, which is three minutes walk from the hotel, using A Hydrofoil ship which takes 35 minutes to from Peireus. The last boat is usually at 9 o'clock at the evening and it goes to the main port of Aegina. A bus going from Aigina Town to Agia Marina is leaving sortly after the arrival of the boat. Agia Marina is 15km away from Aegina town. The bus needs 15 minutes to come here. We recommend you to communicate with us few days before your arrival in order to inform you for any updates. |
