The Villa
This four-bedroom guest house feels more like a private villa. Originally the home of eccentric Mexican artist Manuel Orvaņanos, the traditional, round dwelling has a 14-metre-high palapa roof supported by thick sapodilla beams and pillars. The property takes its name from the stream that flows through the house, cascading into showers and trickling along waterways carved into the floor. A relaxing ambience in combination with the resorts own Spa facilities. There are just four beautiful simple yet distinctive Suites at Casa del Agua, arranged over three floors and featuring cavernous bathrooms and double showers. All are unique and offer their own special feature, all are well equipped with air conditioning, a fan, stocked mini bar, safe, bathrobe, towells, library, fresh fruit and a good selection of toiletries. The suites are all thoughtfully and tastefully designed and decorated, with rough stone walls, timber beams and polished wooden floors. A shady terrace with a plunge-pool gives onto the beach; there are kayaks and snorkelling equipment for those wishing to explore.
The house is hidden among trees in the older, residential part of the resort town of Puerto Aventuras. It is private but not isolated: the beach is shared with neighbours, and the centre of the resort, a planned development with full service marina and golf course offers restaurants, bars, shops and activities only five minutes from the resort.
Casa del Agua can be rented as entire villa for max 10 guests.

Breakfast
A carefully catered breakfast is included with the stay and served from 08 to 11 a.m. on the main terrace with breathtaking ocean views. Featured daily are fresh juice, coffee or tea, tropical fruit salad, yogurt, cereals and a basket with toast and bread. If this isn't enough, you can also choose from the scrumptious banana-nut pancakes, or the French toast with cinnamon flamed in orange liqueur. There is also a choice of eggs any style, and lots of Mexican specialties like chilaquiles, ranch style eggs, omelet with Huitlacoche mushrooms, chaya or shrimp.
Dining
Since we are a small hotel we do not have a day-round kitchen service.
We offer however, special dinners on reservation in advance prepared and catered by a chef for a memorable evening at Casa del Aguas romantic setting.
Tropical cocktails or other drinks are served during day and presence of our staff.
The small center of Puerto Aventuras is only a five minutes walk along the beach or two minutes in car. You will find along the marina several restaurants offering international and mexican cuisine.
Spa
Casa del Agua has its own full service Spa. Our guest can relax and rejuvenate during their stay. Our Spa treatments are on appointment in the comfort and privacy of a separate thached roof SPA. Therapeutic Massage, Shiatsu Reflexology, Aroma Therapy, Body Polish, Facials, Seaweed Treatment, Mud pack and more are available.
Weddings
Casa del Agua is a wonderful place to celebrate a private and unforgettable wedding or retreat. We can receive up to 50 guests for the the wedding dinner and party. The following services can be provided through Casa del Agua; wedding planner, catering service, beverages, cake, flowers, decoration, entertainment, gifts, accommodation for your guests, transfers, activities and more. Expeditions
Casa del Agua provides special tailored excursions for our guests escorted by a licenced long experienced guide throughout the 'Mundo Maya'.
Day tours or round trips are available to Mayan archaeological sites, colonial towns, haciendas, nature reserves, cenotes of crystalline water and more. Please ask for itineraries and prices.
Puerto Aventuras
Puerto Aventuras is a sophisticated marina resort 60 miles south of Cancun.
A masterfully designed concept combines a development with low density residential areas, commercial and recreational areas. Puerto Aventuras has the only full-service marina between Cancun and Belize. Casa del Agua is located on a secluded beach in a residential area on the Fatima Bay.
We will be happy to assist you in organizing your activities, rental car etc.
Scuba Diving.
This area is a well known diving destination. Some of the worlds best Cave and Cavern diving is within a half hour of the hotel. Ocean diving is even closer with shore dives and snorkeling possible a few steps from Casa del Agua. Cozumel is an easy day trip.
Deep Sea Fishing
From Feb. through March the bill fish are running and the marina is full of super sleek sports fishing boats from up and down the Eastern Seaboard. The rest of the year these plentiful waters make landing a game fish, almost a sure thing. Charters are available at the center.
Golf & Tennis
The 9 hole par 36 golf and tennis club in Puerto Aventuras is very pretty, reasonably priced and never busy. Here you can golf all day for under US $75. Twenty minutes away in Playa Car there is an 18 hole championship course designed by Robert Von Hagge.
More activities like sailing, biking, hiking, surfing, jungle tours, theme parks, horseback riding, swimming with dolphins etc. are available.
We have internet access on our main terrace (broadband ethernet). Feel free to bring your notebook along.
Airport transfers are available for an extra cost of USD 75.00 per transfer for up to 3 persons total or USD 20.00 p/person for more. |

The seventh night of each week's stay is complimentary.

- All reservations must be guaranteed. A deposit of 50% of the full stay is required and will be charged at the time of booking.
