Climate:
Summer: Temperatures range between 10 degrees C at night to 35 degrees C in the heat of the day.
Winter: Temperatures range between 5 degrees C at night and 25 degrees C in the heat of the day.
What to Take:
December to March: Summer Clothes. A warm jacket or jersey for the cooler mornings and evenings.
April to November: Winter clothes. A very warm insulated Jacket for the cold morning and nights. Hats, scarf and gloves are recommended.
Comfortable walking shoes track shoes or boots are useful for the bush walks. Sandals are useful for walking around the lodge. Shorts and t-shirt needed all year round for the warm midday period.
Swimming costume, sun block, sunglasses and lip balm are recommended.

Conferencing:
Conference facilities are available at both Shidzidzi and at Nungubane but delegate numbers are limited to a maximum of 8 delegates (6 delegates sharing accommodation and 2 in single accommodation) if a single lodge is used or up to 16 if both lodges are used (again sharing accommodation with 12 delegates in twin rooms and 4 in single rooms with king-size double beds).

How to Get There:
BY AIR:
There is a landing strip that serves both Shidzidzi and Nungubane. The airstrip co-ordinates are 24° 17' 09 S 27°47' 09 E.
Both Shidzidzi and Nungubane have Helipads - the co-ordinates at each are:

BY ROAD:
From Johannesburg take the N1 towards Pietersburg to the Kranskop Toll Plaza. At the Toll Plaza follow the Nylstroom off ramp. Continue through Nylstroom, carry on through Vaalwater and continue to the Main Gate - 26 Kilometres from Vaalwater. Do not enter the Main Gate but rather continue on until the Schoongelegen turn-off (22.5 km's). Turn left to Schoongelegen and continue on sand road to the West Gate (16.5 km's). Enter at the West Gate (be sure not to enter at the contractors gate). Secure parking is provided at the West Gate and a vehicle will transport you to your private game lodge.

Gate Collection Times: The lodge is 30 minutes from the gate and will collect guests according to the following collection times:
January-March 12h30 and 14h30
April-August 13h00
