GENERAL INFORMATION ON ROOMS

Climate:
· Summer – the temperature varies from 15 to 30 degrees C. Early mornings are mild with warm days.
· Winter - the temperature varies from night to day. Daytime temperatures are mild normally about 20 degrees C. Night time temperatures are considerably colder dropping to below 5 degrees C. Temperatures drop just after sunset.
What to Take:
October to March: Summer Clothes. A warm jacket or jersey for milder mornings and evenings.
April to September: Winter clothes with at least one set of cooler clothing.
Comfortable shoes and a hat is recommended for walks as is a swimming costume through out the year as the hotel offers afternoon Jacuzzi sessions with refreshments throughout the year

The chef will discuss the dinner menu with you in person during the afternoon and will happily create a menu around your specific request ensuring that the presented fare that evening is exactly to your taste. Whether it be mussels served in tasty sauce of white wine and herbs, the freshly caught line-fish of the day expertly prepared, a chicken dish with fresh vegetables, or a rack of tender 'Karoo' lamb, the cuisine will tantalise your taste buds.

A variety of churches ranging from Anglican, Methodist, Catholic and more is situated in the village of Plettenberg Bay. Our team will gladly assist in arranging a minister, priest or other religious persons for the ceremony, as well as bookings for churches.
CLIFF TOP
Exchange your vows on a remote cliff top 300 metres from the hotel. With 180 degree views of the Indian Ocean spread out before you, the hotel visible in the distance and a Fijnbosch reserve behind you, what could be more unique and romantic?
THE SUNDECK
This beautiful venue is in front of the main lounge area of the hotel, and offers panoramic views over the ocean below. The sundeck is perfect for couples who want stunning views and the scent of the sea, while still retaining the modern fresh feel of the hotel and its whites behind you. This venue is easily accessible and is ideal for groups of up to 100.
PRIVATE BEACH
A beautiful ocean sunset, a pristine sandy shore, and the feel of exchanging your vows far away from civilisation. This venue has such an impressive atmosphere that very little is required when it comes to décor, and is suitable for an intimate group of about 30 guests.
LAKE SIDE
On the northern side of the hotel is an inland lake that hosts a number of wild ducks and other natural fauna and flora indigenous to this part of South Africa.
COCKTAIL LOUNGE
Highly recommended for groups of up to 50 guests as an indoor venue at the hotel. We will 'transform' the lounge into a room filled with white silk drapings and chairs, contrasted with a lively selection of fresh flowers and flower petals.
