Climate:
Greenway Woods Resort is situated in a subtropical climate zone and has an annual rainfall average of approximately 800mm. It is a summer rainfall region.
The summer season starts in September and lasts until May. While humid conditions prevail during the summer months, the winter months of June, July, and August are generally dry.

What to Take:
November to March, Summer Clothes. One or two tops for the rainy days
April to October, Warmer/Winter clothes. A warm Jacket for the cold morning and nights.
Comfortable walking shoes, track shoes or boots are useful for the bush walks. Sandals are useful for walking around the resort and also for day trips. Shorts and t-shirt needed all year round for the warm midday period.
Swimming costume, sun block, insect repellent, sun hat, sunglasses and lip balm are recommended.
Although no major outbreaks of malaria have been reported in the area, caution is recommended.

INJABULA BOMA RESTAURANT - Place of Eating - is our African themed restaurant. It offers guests a unique African Dining Experience.
THE RIVERGROVE RESTAURANT is used mainly for breakfast - also used as an additional lunch/dinner venue when Injabula is booked for a private function.

How to Get There:
FROM JOHANNESBURG - take the R22 Benoni/Brakpan, which then becomes the N12. This joins the N4 from Pretoria/Witbank to Middelburg. Continue with the N4 past Machadadorp/Watervaal Boven to Nelspruit.
In Nelspruit, at the third robot turn left onto the R40, towards White River.
In White River, the R40 becomes Kruger Street - at the last robot in White River turn left - this is the continuation of the R40, towards Hazyview, approximately 7km out of town - turn left into Pine Lake Drive to Greenway Woods Resort (just before the end of the tarred road)
FROM DURBAN - drive to Pietermaritzburg. At the Bergville turn-off, turn right towards Ladysmith - Ladysmith to New Castle, then onto Volksrust. Drive on to Ermelo - from Ermelo to Nelspruit.
Then Follow directions as above.

Payment Details:
LEISURE GUESTS
A deposit of 50% of your total stay is required in order to guarantee the reservation, however should you stay be for one night only, full- prepayment will be required. If the Hotel has received no pre-payment/deposit prior to the date of arrival, as per cancellation policy below, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.
Payment can be made via transfer to the Hotel's bank account directly details or via credit card, copy of your I.D. book and credit card are required. No Cheques accepted.
The hotel does not accept or exchange foreign currency
GROUPS AND CONFERENCES
· A deposit equivalent to 25% of the quoted rate is payable 90 (ninety) days prior to the date of arrival. A further 25% is payable 30 days prior to arrival. The balance of the hotel accommodation is to be paid to the Hotel no later than 14 days prior to arrival.
· Should the reservation be made within 30 days prior to arrival a deposit equal to 100% of the total accommodation amount quoted will be due immediately.
· The balance outstanding from services rendered to the client during the function held at the Hotel must be settled prior to departure.
· Where the client has contracted a third party such as a PCO or Travel Agent, to reserve and/or co-ordinate the booking, the Client remains the principal party within this agreement and shall remain responsible to the Hotel for settlement of any amounts due to the Hotel in terms of this agreement.
· Should the client elect to settle the outstanding balance due to the Hotel via such a third party, the Client remains responsible for such debt until it has been settled in full.
· Payment must be made directly into the bank account of the hotel and proof of payment (deposit slip) must be faxed to the Hotel with a relevant covering letter.
