§ The building
Made from a “hospitale” built in 1300, its restoration has been masterly to say the least and such was the skill required that it has been the subject of study and technical/scientific disclosure.
It is situated at the heart of the old village centre and its entrance faces the main square of Bettona. The Relais blends in magnificently and in a functional way amongst the oldest and most characteristic buildings of the village.
Parking is easy, but should you prefer it, the Relais shuttle will suit your needs, ensuring that your arrival and stay are trouble-free.
§ The position
It is well known that Umbria is completely surrounded by verdant countryside and is full of history and culture.
However, the biggest mistake is to think that it is all the same. Well, Bettona is not the same as any other village in Umbria: it is built high up on a hill and commands a breathtaking view of the whole of the valley: from Perugia and Foligno, through Torgiano, Assisi, Santa Maria degli Angeli, Spello and others, some of the most enchanting places in Umbria.
Its location means that it is easy to reach any of these places in just 15 minutes, either by car or by shuttle service.
The airport is also only a 15 minutes’ drive away.
Bettona and the Relais are also in the middle of the Wine Route called “Il Cantico”. The “Wine Routes” are the new frontier for erudite tourism, for the curious, for those who appreciate and therefore seek all aspects of “knowledge” and the “art of living”.

Coming from north (Florence) you need to take the Autostrada A1 in direction "Rome", exit at "Valdichiana", proceed in direction "Perugia". After Perugia continue on the E45 in direction "Roma/Terni", exit at "Torgiano", pass it and follow the indications for "Bettona". and “Relais la Corte di Bettona". In Bettona go straight along the city wall until you pass the entrance “Porta V. Emanuele”, go up to the historic centre, where you will find the hotel.

-From 20 to 14 days prior to arrival 30% Of penalty charge on the entire

-From 13 to 07 days prior to arrival 50% Of penalty charge on the entire
stay
- Less than 7 days prior to arrival, penalty of the full charge of the
entire stay
