The Mermaid Lodge & Motel offers you clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation, conveniently located next door to the famous Ainsworth Hot Springs Pools and Cave. Accommodation types range from modest lodge accommodation in the historical lodge, to fully modern kitchenette units in the newer complex, to a fully furnished apartment for larger groups and families and all within a 3 minute walk to the hotsprings facilities or a 5 minute walk to the beach and lake areas. All the units have balconies with lake & mountain views and most motel units will accommodate a minimum of 4-5 persons. We are pleased to provide complimentary satellite T.V and in-room coffee in all units. |

| The famous Ainsworth Hot Springs Pools and Cave are next door (50 meters) and the Kootenay Lake is across the road from our facility. There are very affordable boat rentals only 3 km's from town for sightseeing, trophy fishing or fishing guides if necessary. Golf courses aplenty within 15 minute drive, hiking/biking trails nearby as well as many other attractions depending upon the time of year. The Kokanee Glacier is located a short distance from Ainsworth where our ex-Prime Minister Trudeau's deceased son's monument and hikers cabin are located. Excellent powder, downhill skiing located only 55 km's from Ainsworth or cross-country trails near motel in winter months. There are two restaurants to choose from, 'Springs Dining Room' at the hotsprings hotel next door and J.B.'s Marine Pub & Restaurant only 3 km's from Ainsworth for fine or family dining. |

The Mermaid Lodge & Motel is located in the center of Ainsworth, on the upper road, next to the hot springs facilities at pool level.
Ainsworth Hot Springs is located in the southern interior of British Columbia, Canada, on Hwy # 31, approximately 50 km's north of Nelson, B.C. and 30 km's south of Kaslo, B.C. We are only 3 l/2 hr. drive to Spokane, Wash. U.S.A. or a 9 hr. drive from Calgary or Vancouver. |

| We require a minimum 2-night stay during any Canadian or U.S. holiday long weekends. Contact us for details. Our check-out time is 12 noon and all reservations are guaranteed past 6:00 p.m. Late arrival arrangements must be made with reception if requiring arrival past 9:00 p.m. All rates quoted are in Canadian currency and are subject to sales taxes of 7% GST and 8% PST. |
| Cancellation Policy: |
| The cancellation policy is only 48 hours. In the event of last minute cancellations within our 48 hour period, only the 1st night reserved will be charged to the card holder's credit card. |
