One World Backpacker's is a small family operated hostel in a magnificently restored Australian Federation home. It is our aim to provide guests with a warm, relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Together with the provision of outstanding facilities, we aim to ensure a truly comfortable and personal stay. We invite you to come and enjoy our hospitality and join the One World family.
At One World we are committed to ensuring that our impact and that of our guests on the environment is kept to a minimum. We have endeavoured during the restoration of the building to incorporate as many environmentally friendly features as possible given the age and nature of the building. We have paid particular attention to the climatic and environmental factors that influence Perth, in particular the long hot summers and the severe water shortages we face.
Bedrooms
We are pleased to offer a range of 4, 6 and 8 person dorms that have polished floor boards, mirrors, fans and high ceilings creating a bright airy feel. All dorms are equipped with lockers free of charge. Doubles are available with or without ensuites and we cater for families and people with disabilities. All beds have new firm inner-sprung mattresses and fresh clean linen is provided.
Kitchen, Bathrooms and Laundry
With a super-deluxe kitchen that has brand new everything including three gas stoves, oven and grill, two microwaves, 3 door glass fridge, toaster, sandwich maker and electric urn for free tea and coffee. The kitchen opens through French doors to a patio area for alfresco dining and there are fresh herbs to be picked for the gourmet chefs.
The bathrooms are fresh and clean with the women's and the two disabled facilities being completely restored. All bathrooms are professionally cleaned on a daily basis.
The laundry features all new commercial washing machines and dryer along with an iron and ironing board. There is also ample line space for hanging clothes outside.
Parking
We have limited secured parking facilities and free timed on-street facilities immediately to the front of the hostel.
Lounge Room
Relax in our spacious lounge area with a good book, a movie on the 80cm T.V. or perhaps a quick cat nap

Location: ? Head to the Northbridge side of the Train station
? Walk up William St and turn left into James St
? Turn right onto Shenton St, walk until you hit Aberdeen and we're directly in front of you.
? Otherwise go to the Barrack St end of the train station and jump on the free BLUE CAT bus and jump off at STOP 12 on SHENTON ST and walk back to Aberdeen St and here we are. |
