Frequently asked questions for new partner hotels:
Are there any commissions or hidden fees: absolutely not, there are no commissions or listing or hidden fees to join the system, the system is fully free, however a minimum 10% discount on your full seasonal rates need to be offered for clients who reserve through GHD website and those clients who claim to have a GHD valid discount card.
Are Reservations live or On Request?: all reservations are on request, when a reservation is received, you will receive an email informing you about the reservation, then you need to login to your hotel account and either accept it or reject it.
Are there dates to close or open?: There are no dates to close or open since everything is on request.
Can clients contact my hotel directly?: Yes, GHD is an open system, all your property contact information is visible for all visitors to the site to see and use.
Are there monthly reservations reports to be checked and cross checked?: There are no such reports to be filled or checked.
Do clients pay directly at my property: Yes, all clients pay directly at your property.
Are GHD reservations guaranteed?: We require all those clients who reserve through the GHD system to provide a valid credit card to guarantee the reservation, however we do ask member hotels to check the validity of the provided credit card if they are in doubt.
If there are no commissions and fees, how does GHD support its operations?: GHD support its operations by offering Pay per Click advertising, fixed fee advertising, selling discount membership cards and offering extra promotional and marketing offers for our member hotels.
While it is true that GHD can generate much higher revenues by charging commissions, our company goal is not to squeeze every last penny out of the hotel owner, our goal is about offering a fair, cost effective, alternative room distribution model for hotels globally, while at the same time offering the client a truly discounted room without penalizing the property owner.
